Save the Date: Wednesday, February 16th from 5:30-7:30pm is the annual WarriorBots Robot Reveal at Muskego High School.

Thank You!

  • Thank you to the Oechsner’s for providing lunch this past Saturday for the team.

Shooter

The shooter team worked on their V2 prototype, focusing on a fixed angle and changing speed and wheel size to determine shooting distance and consistency. They have been working on their CAD and are anticipating having their first version of CAD done in the next couple of days. They also worked with the whole team to determine the final shooter type for the robot: a variable-hooded turret.

Cargo Handling

The cargo handling team started the week by testing how to center the incoming cargo. They decided to use a downward sloping funnel, as it worked the best out of all the options. The rest of the week they worked on CAD and are now ready to have a CAD review as a team before beginning to make parts this week.

Climber

The climber team continued prototyping this week and had their first successful climb. They have decided to use a virtual four bar system that is powered by gas shocks and a winch. They are continuing to improve their design and are working on a second version of their prototype. This upcoming week they will be working on CAD and finalizing their design.

Business

The business team has been preparing for the Warrior Winterizer where the team will have an area for racing ROMI Robots, talking to the community, and showing off the team. They are excited to show the community everything the team has been working on and inspire interest in STEM in younger generations. They have also been finalizing the graphic design for this year’s logo, so it can go onto the team’s t-shirts for the year.
