Intake
The intake team has brainstormed several ideas to intake cubes and cones this past week. They have decided to try a system that will vector game pieces into a clamp design that will be attached to an arm. They have begun their CAD and are working on possible modifications to help move game pieces more efficiently.
Handling
The Handling team has decided to build an elevator system with an arm attached to a carriage that will ride on the elevator. They have worked on several prototypes to make the arm a gravity counterbalancing arm. In addition they have begun to CAD their design.
Charge Platform
The Charge Station team has come up with a system to help the robot balance on the charge station involving redistribution of the robot’s weight. They are working with the other subsystem teams to plan out the best possible locations to have their system.
